Pacifico Energy has contributed to the afforestation project conducted by the Hyogo Prefecture Global Warming Prevention Activity Promotion Center (Hyogo Environmental Creation Association) through donations to the Hyogo Prefecture Hyogo Green Energy Blue Carbon Fund.
On June 22, 2022, accompanied by Hyogo Prefectural Environment Department staff, we visited Prefectural Yumesakinomori Park (2160-2 Yumezenchoji, Himeji City) and Prefectural Kuniminomori Park (374 Uehiji, Yamazakicho, Shiso City). I was able to observe the planted area and confirm many plantings. According to the Hyogo Prefectural Environment Department, 20 to 30 maple trees are planted in Yumesakinomori Park, and 182 autumnal trees, such as cherry blossoms and maple trees, are planted at Kuniminomori Park on the hiking course for general visitors.
Pacifico Energy has so far developed, constructed, managed, and operated four photovoltaic power plants using former golf course sites in the prefecture. In consideration of biodiversity, we are actively engaged in nature conservation activities such as operating without using herbicides.
In order to prevent global warming, we will continue to devote ourselves to the spread of safe and secure clean energy and the operation of power plants that take nature into consideration.
A fund operated by the Hyogo Environmental Creation Association promotes measures to prevent global warming. We are promoting local contribution projects for global warming countermeasures, such as solar power generation, forest conservation and creation activities at prefectural Furusato no Mori Park, etc., and regenerating seaweed by creating shallow areas in the Seto Inland Sea.
